Blue Hawaii Night. Who could possibly be a more independent spirit than The King? For two special days, the hip-gyrating young Elvis, the smooth-toned middle years Elvis, and the later Las Vegas Elvis all converge in Ypsilanti's Riverside Park to spark images and memories of a bygone time when girls wore poodle skirts and cars were truly a sight to behold. So, put on your blue suede shoes and come on down!

SUMMER BEER FESTIVAL

Each summer, the Michigan Brewers Guild hosts a Summer Beer Festival at Riverside Park in Historic Depot Town, Ypsilanti. 5,000 people converge on the park to sample over one hundred beers prepared by breweries throughout the state. Brewery personnel will be on hand to talk with guests, and educate connoisseurs about the art of beer making. Live music and delicious food are also available.
